FF, good luck with tomorrow's race. I hope that your legs won't be too heavy after today's long run.

LL, well done for this mornings 6 miles hilly run. Good luck with Saturdays new Irish parkrun.

Steve, happy birthday and many more of them 🎂🎊
I hope that the improvements to your body go well during the year.

Lesley, well done for this mornings 5 miles. I'm glad that you found it relaxing, feeling good 😊

Sounds an enjoyable run Lesley, well done and thank you.

Thanks hillstrider, I'm hoping my legs behave too.

I have a slight niggle in my right knee and an ache in my lower back from yesterday which I hoped would go overnight while I slept. Unfortunately I only managed just over 6 hours sleep too so feeling a little tired. Oh well I shall still do my best, my PB from 2019 is 43.20 and last year my 3rd run of the race thanks to covid was a worst of 45.46, coming back from PF, I'd like a sub 45 for the undulating 6 miles tonight if possible.

Good luck FF, you can only do your best. If you don't hit your target, you will know the reasons why.

Thanks hillstrider, I'm sat on the sofa with heavy eyelids, I don't know whether a nap would help or make me feel worse.

FF, I dozed off for about 10 minutes after lunch. I didn't feel any different when I woke up.

Too late now to have a doze I need to think about leaving home in a short while. Quite looking forward to it and also dreading the heat too. Mixed emotions.
