Thanks LL. I've been informed on Facebook "so it must be true," that a Vo2 max of 50 equals a 19 minute something 5k! That's bonkers at 77🤣

Thanks Steve, it was an official PW for me. It's a very hilly route (1000ft elevation approx) till mile 8 then it's downhill most of the way back. It was really windy and hot, I struggled. I have had a pretty bad week mentally so had a cry after. I wanted to do better.

Looks like everyone has been doing well. Nice VO2 max HS, I'm stuck on 47 and have been for a long long time. I was at 49.

Thanks FF, I wish my pace lived up to my Vo2Max!

Lesley, thanks.

I don't seem to have seen your half marathon results.

Lesley I think that’s a good time over what looks like a tough course under tough conditions. Try not to be disappointed and well done.

I don’t do Summer events because they’re too hard for me.

We all have bad races Lesley and if you weren't mentally prepared along with the tough weather conditions it's an uphill struggle from the start never mind the 1000 ft elevation during the race. Never mind the PW well done for completing it now draw a line under it and look forward to the next one.

A 6.7 mile run in the forest this morning with a running friend. I fell over crossing the road between two Inclosures, bashing my knees, right hand and arm. Thankfully, I was ok and got straight up again. An approaching car slowed down!

Oh dear hillstrider, I'm pleased you're ok but hope the bashing of body parts doesn't cause you any issues.

Take it steady, HS. Hope the bruises come to naught. :(
Nice to know the car driver was aware enough to slow down!

Oh no I hope you’re ok and not too shaken up HS. I managed 4 miles of fartlek this morning. Have a green tick for the month 🤪
