Well done LL for your good start to the month.

Well done Lesley for your 5 miles.

This morning was a total of 6.24 miles with a running friend, including 5 x 100 metres, 5 x 200 metres and 4 x 400 metres with 30 seconds, 30 seconds and 60 seconds recoveries respectively. I was more cautious than usual following Mondays fall.

Another good session hillstrider.

I had considered a run this morning but having an extra half hour in bed made me decide against it as I'd only have time for a short run. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks FF. An extra half hour in bed sounded like a good plan

Early to bed last night consequently early to rise so I ran 13.5 miles because I had the time to do it. I was silly to do it though because I'm racing tomorrow evening, despite that I enjoyed the run but regret it now.
Well done for your fartlek run hillstrider.

It’s all about the moment FF and it’s nice when you’re enjoying a run. Tomorrows another day.
Well done HS. I also managed 6 this morning on a very hilly route here in Ireland. Planning a new Irish parkrun for Saturday. It will be my 9th on the Island of Ireland 8th south of the border and one north.

Thanks LL, I don't expect a PB anyway as I've forgotten how to race again as I don't do very many at all. Enjoy your parkrun tourism on the island of Ireland whether north or south.

Great miles being put in by everyone here. I'm envious of course. Having time to do runs like 13.1 FF ,I suppose has to be taken when you're enjoying running too. Dunno if it's the best way to achieve good race results though when there's so little recovery time but what the heck. Hope your race goes well tomorrow.
Your 6 miles was impressive LL on a hilly route at that and your weekly reps hs always good training.
Just 2.2 miles this morning was a nice way to start my 74th birthday off with my wife spurring me on😂. Ideally it would've been 7.4 miles but the body repair hasn't been completed! Marked 45 years of running yesterday and I'm looking forward to slow improvements as the year goes by .

Many happy returns of the day Steve. I hope the body repair isn't too long and well done for this morning's run.

Happy Birthday Steve!! Hope you are enjoying your day.

Good luck with your race FF. Enjoy Ireland LL. Good running HS.

I did another 5 miles early this morning. Making the most of the daylight before the darkness returns. Was lovely and sunny this morning, took it easy was the best feeling run I have had in a while.
