It was warm but not unpleasantly hot thank heavens GG. There was only a slight breeze going away from home and I wondered if I'd struggle on the return but I felt quite strong picking up the pace for the last mile and a bit.

Well done FF, 20 miles is impressive, whatever the weather.

Thanks hillstrider, I do enjoy my Sunday runs and the longer the better but it's not often I get to run really long :-)

20 nice one FF, More than I’m currently doing in a week 😂
Just over 17 on the bike today which I don’t seem to struggle with in the warmer weather.

Well done on your 7 HS.

Hilly (3300ft) hot and humid marathon on Saturday, took it easy as had not really trained for it, had a fab time, finished feeling really good. Track tonight - took it easy (and kept forgetting to pause my watch while I was faffing about) but had a lovely gossipy time with a woman a year younger than my oldest son! Sometimes the run is about far more than the running!

Hope all are well and survived the heat.

Thanks LL, and well done for your long bike ride.

Well done MrsB for your hilly marathon in hot and humid conditions.

I'm not surprised that you took the track session easy, so soon after the marathon.

A rest day today, just the usual Tuesday Farmers Walk.

MrsB that sounded like the kind of run we need from time to time and esp after that hilly marathon! Well done.

Great long bike ride LL and FF I found I had a nice breeze on Friday which made the run all the more pleasant but it was hot in the trees on way back.

Well done hs for continued great running

I got out this morning garmin suggested a threshold run so I complied doing a fast mile for virtual mile and bit faster 2nd mile with warm up and cool down each side.

GG - how do you get Garmin to suggest runs? Do you have to sign up to a training programme?

Mrsbridgewater I honestly don’t know the answer they just appeared one day a while ago I normally ignore it.

Googling it seems to be this if your watch has it garmin.com
