Rather warm at the track tonight,
Flying 30s were the order of the day. Covered about 4 miles in total.

Sounds like a good track session MrsB.

No running for me today. Nothing much to report, except driving into the village for a haircut.

I think that today is the hottest so far this year, so I'm rather glad that it wasn't a run day.

Yeah, very very warm today and also for your flying 30s last night. Phew to that and good training continues.
A non run day hs, timely point in your regime given the 29/30 c today.

Ugh, my lowest miles since 2009 and not much progress on the horizon. I'll be back on the thread when I'm actually doing some miles again but am taking a thread break until then. Enjoy the good (?!) weather folks and your runs.

Please keep in touch with us Steve, even if it isn't running connected. I'm sure that you have other activities that we would be interested in, such as your hobby with bird 🐦 watching.

I hope you enjoyed your walk/run with your friend yesterday LL?

Another very hot and sunny morning, and we did 5 hill reps with jogs back down, on a long hill we call "the Tyrol."

Well done HS I got up in the middle of the night to meet some friends at 7:30.
We did 12 times run hard down hill recovered walking back up. It was harder than it looks on paper.

LL, well done, I think it is harder running downhill fast than it is running up. We will have to incorporate some downhill efforts into our training schedule.

HS I’ve never done it like this before it was my friends suggestion.
It sounded easy but it wasn’t. I’d say it was a good session.
