Thanks Steve, it was one of my "good days," which aren't as often nowadays. That was a good mile time. I've never raced a mile, but have been under 6 minute pace in several longer runs, which were all gun times. 10 miles in 59.54, 10k in 35.52 ,5 miles in 29.45 and 5k in 18.08. I can't even run 100 metres at that sort of pace now! It's very foggy here too, so I'm glad I'm not running. Well done for your 5k in the fog. |

Very jealous of you all at the Jingle Mile I had thought I’d come up with a reason to visit the boat but it clashes with my girls weekend away celebrating my cousins 40th. So good to see you back out Ev and I hope it continues. I have put my out of office on, annual leave today and Monday and all being well op on Tuesday. I set myself a revised 1275m target abs looks like that is in the bag. So very happy geordiegirl. Keep up the excellent running everyone I’ll keep popping by for a chat. |

I’m only going for the meet up no pressure on the mile thing as I’ve a cross country club race the day after. Also doing parkrun in the morning. Good luck with your op GG. Steve have you had your check? Well done Evangel and of course everybody else doing their thing.

Looby Loo have you decided on Storey's Field parkrun? I'm working Friday evening but hope to be away before midnight because I need to be up at 6 to leave home at 7 for the drive down to do parkrun tourism.

Fenland FlierWe’re doing Coldham’s Common as it’s walking distance from our Premier Inn. Also as it’s a grassy one I’ll be less tempted to bust a gut on it. |

LL, heart scan is on Sunday! From what I've been told it's unlikely I'll get results straight away. Your best are/were great hs. My best 10 was 62 minutes and 63 something on the same course the year after. My worst 10 was 66 minutes something in the Woking 10 when I felt unwell on the journey there from Cardiff. 10k were usually around 38 minutes, my best 37 37. so clearly you were a good bit zippier than me and like you can't do 100 metres at that pace now! It's great/fun though to see and enjoy folks running so well here and still have sights on PB's. |

I appreciate I started running late, at the age of 48+ but the times you have been posting are fantastic compared to my own. 5k 20.29, 10k 43.33, 10m 1.10.54 and 1.37 for a half. I can only dream of a single mile at sub 6 minutes never mind a race full of them 🤣🤣 I shall continue trying to improve while my motivation and health allows. |

Sorry haven't posted for a while. Hope all goes well with the op GG. I did do my first run in almost 3 weeks today. I would have gone earlier in the week but with the temp below freezing I thought that was not a good idea. Anyway 5k done, will slowly build up (again). |
