I had a slightly quicker 9:26 benchmark today off 8 min goal repeats with 4 mins recovery so suspect I could have got a quicker mile without the recovery.

Well done FF for yesterdays 12 miles.

I'm glad that you are feeling better Lesley.

Thanks Steve, yes, I suppose that reps on roads are more consistent, but not so satisfying. Well done for this mornings 4.1 miles. I admire your persistence, and determination to get back to running without having to run/walk.

That looked like an impressive session LL!

I decided to make today a running rest day after yesterdays tough hill rep session. Instead, I drove into the village for a hair cut.

Wise to take a rest day following your hard session hs. Looking trim then now for the summer!
Well done LL, your longest distance this month.
5k this morning on some road , some trail. Took a tumble on a wet muddy part of the flood plain! Hardly a fall but well muddied legs from ankle to thigh!! Beautiful sunny morning ideal for running but the walk run sufficed of course!

Steve, yes, my go faster haircut 👴

Well done for this mornings 5k. Sorry to hear about the fall, but lucky it was on mud and not tarmac.

An extra heavy load for this mornings Farmers Walk. The lady on the checkout out said " why don't you take the trolley home and return it tomorrow." I mentioned the Farmers Walk, but I don't think she knew what I was talking about. 🤣

I hope your tumble hasn't upset any muscle or joints Steve.
Another good cross training farmers walk hillstrider.
A very autumnal run this morning for me, a little over 10 miles which included my May virtual mile attempt.
