Well done for this mornings 4.3 miles Steve.

It's disgraceful that the letter containing the results of your tests has been "waiting" in your file. Waiting for Christmas 🤣

This mornings Southampton parkrun had 1102 runners, and I came 562nd and 2nd AG 75-80 from 11. I was very pleased with my official time of 28.28 and a WAVA of 70.55%.. This was my first WAVA in the 70%'s since my menisci tears injury in 1997.

What a result hs! 70.55% WAVA is fantastic. Great time too. 1997 is a heck of a long time ago to now, still getting a result like that.

That is bonkers Steve I hope the results are positive and you get some feedback from the doctors.

I got out for 10m today it was lovely when I left home but had a job to do for mam and dad first by which time it was raining - joy. It stopped warmed up so jacket off then temp dropped and rain came back. Wasn’t feeling too perky but it’s a tick on the plan.

Huge well done hs, fantastic running and in shock at the numbers! Our local one gets around 500 it’s bad enough.

Great running team esp in the mad weather the woods were a complete mess today.

I got the year wrong Steve, it was 2017 when I had the injury. I was running much quicker in 1997. I don't know where I got that date from. Thanks anyway, it's still a long time from 2017.

Thanks FF and GG. There was a bit of jostling at the start, and it was nearly a k before the field started to thin out a bit. I was glad that I wore my trail shoes, as there was a lot of mud and deep puddles.

Well done for todays 10 miles GG.

That’s super running HS and surprised you weren’t first in age.

Good luck getting your results Steve.
Well done on your 10 GG.
I did a beach parkrun today quite tough on sand and with a cold wind.

I have 10 tomorrow not looking forward to the cold.

You did great HS, nice speedy time. Running on sand is hard work, well done LL. Well done on your miles too Steve and GG.

I also did 10 yesterday, including Parkrun. It was dry when I left home but it started raining about 4 miles in. Glad I had my jacket.

I was pretty sore with DOMs all over after a strength session and lots of digging on Friday.

😂 ok hs, you got the year wrong about your injury but that doesn't take anything away from that great run yesterday!
Ten miles is splendid gg and ticks your boxes nicely, well done. Yeah, bonkers re my hospital results!
A beach park run LL-- I didn't know there were any beaches designated as parks but that sounded tough. And a ten miler today too, don't overcook your marathon training.
Blimey Lesley your miles have escalated these last few months haven't they? Fantastic to do ten again while incorporating park run.
Sunday is usually a non outing day but...there wasn't a cloud in the sky, no wind and couldn't resist. Minus 1c was fine because of glorious sunrise and sunshine. 4.3 miles again.
What a run by Josh Kerr last night!

Ohh sandy parkrun well done! I should really get myself to the beach to practice for Jordan but I know how hard it will be 🤣 good luck for your 10 today LL

Well done on your 10 too Lesley esp after the digging.

Good start to a frosty Sunday Steve (& Vicky) I’m off out with mags later for a few. Shame to woods is so muddy it’s not worth the risk of injury.

Thanks LL, the 1st MV75-80 ran 24 something, and there is no way I could get anywhere near that!

Well done for yesterday's beach parkrun. I know how tough it is running on sand and pebbles, as I used to run on the beach at Southsea when the tide was out, in my lunch hour. Good luck with today's 10 miles.

Thanks Lesley, I have been aiming for 28.30 for months, so I was really pleased with 28.28. Onwards and upwards, as they say 😅

Well done for yesterday's 10 miles, including a parkrun. I'm not surprised that you have DOMs after strength work and digging.

Thanks Steve. Now that I've achieved a 70% grading again, its given me the incentive to try and maintain that level.

Well done for this mornings 4.3 miles. It was frosty here too. Agree, great running by Josh Kerr, he has an amazing finishing kick.

I hope that you enjoy your run later today GG with mags. I agree about the woods/forest. We are getting cheesed off, running on roads most of the time.

I did a solo 4.35 miles this morning on roads. It was a very easy pace recovery run.
