Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Joe Hawk Ran this in 2008 in 3:57:56. It would be nice to knock an hour off :-).
Might well not happen as I have Halstead the week before.
Won't happen crocked , will hopefully be able to get round.

hellen Happy with the time as it was a training run, really enjoyed it apart from the nasty steep downhills near the end!

tramps Frustrating course. Excellent running off-road running surface, but not enough variation to maintain my interest. Good company from Jogging Jon, Controversial, Naomi & Roger B (in his 496th marathon). Pulled thigh muscle at mile 21, which meant for an exciting descent down the three slopes.

Capricorn Great race as always - despite the rain and wind. 2nd best time ever and first LV40 so very pleased :-)

Sombrero Did FLM on 26 April, hoping legs are fine for a sub-4 attempt............. Legs felt shattered after 18 miles, I walked a few times from 20 onwards but some great encouragement got me round and I got my sub-4. I have a new favourite event!!! Brilliantly organised and stunning scenery. I'll be back.

Dickie York Off road marathon for fun!
Did FLM and have Edinburgh Marathon at end of the month which I'm aiming to sub 3 hour (just), so this is going to be run as an 'easy long training run'.
Weather was not the best, rain and wind.
Took it easy (ish) for 1st 9 miles, then at 11 miles found I was in the top 10, that then got me competative, could see 4 people in front and slowly picked them off, then another 2, realized I was now in 3rd place!
1st time I've had a 'place' finish and got a prize!
Suprised the hell out of myself!

Naomi P An attempt on the District Double. Must be mad. *Update* Found this tough for some reason, not sure why. On predicted time though so that's ok.
