bedlam_g Feels like a chance missed to do a sub 37. In the end I should probably be pleased after a really bad month of injury niggles.

ClaireT Pleased with run, chuffed to finally break the 10K PB, an improvement of around 30s. Not sure my 'real' time as they didn't record my chip time only my gun time and other runners standing in front of me on the start line had a chip time 3 seconds faster so probably was 38.30. Like running in the heat, so I enjoyed the conditions, but did flag a bit between 5-6k feeling dehydrated and was turning each corner in hope the water station would hurry up and appear. Well done to the many club mates and Fetchies who had good runs tonight.

daviec Gun Time 38:17, Chip Time 38:12. Position 53/958. Category Pos 29/222. New PB, but don't feel I did myself justice. Was on 36.xx pace for the first 5k and hit a new 5k PB during the race. Felt comfortable knocking out 6 minute miles for ther first 3 - but lost it a bit between 5 and 6 miles and didn't want it enough to pick up the pace. Happy enough with a PB, but will be running hard at Killie next week and looking for a better time.

Edmondo Despite a bit of a groin strain, I managed to keep a steady pace on a fairly flat Troon course and get a new PB. Temperature dropped a bit by start time which helped. Started a bit far back so got boxed in when the prom narrowed - in hindsight no bad thing as I was able to overtake a fair few as the race went on.

Gordo Struggled from early on but especially between 3-4k and again at 6-7k. Over two mins slower than PB which was very disappointing. No real reason for poor run that I can work out. Need to put it behind me and hope for better at Clydebank!

wil e coyote haven't run really since FLM due to injury so a nice run oot in the sleepy retirees resort by the sea will do nicely for a starter back

probs with leg during the race, had to pull upx3, but enjoyed the race and buzz of the event, masses of fun runners, great killie attendance as usual
