Joopsy Absolutelt delirious with doing under teh hour at my first ever race! Couldn't work out why I had two black toes after the race and I couldn't walk for a week. I have since found out that you need to have trainers to suit your feet and you don't just buy a pair from M&S for £8!!! Absolutely shattered afterwards but I will be back.

Lumsdoni OK you can bet on me now - I am entered. Mrs Lums has promised not to go into labour at least until the end of the race! This is only 2 weeks before baby Lums is due so I might not make it to the start line. Otherwise it will be a PB attempt! PB-tastic. SOOOO pleased with this race as I ran it to plan for once. Decided to just go for 5min laps, but set Garmin to 1.05km laps in case course was different to Garmin. Had an awful headache for first 3km, but finally settled into a rhythm at about 6km!! Tough uphills between 6-8 but handled them well. Even better was the official clock at 400m to go. Turned into finish with 200m to and put in the usual sprint finish to a veritable ROAR from Mrs Lums, Mini Lums and SLow GOing, HObbes and KetieB with associated fetchlets. Great feeling. Dead as i crossed theline but ecstatic with time. Then did 2k fun run with Lums Jnr. SO proud he managed it, only his second run. He still wearing his medal, and his sprint finish brought a tear to the eye. Then off to a big roast dinner with the Fetchies. TOP DAY. Thanks to all who came and supported.

sarahbob Good race - favourable weather (especially considering the later downpours), lovely atmosphere, supportive marshalls so a good run (and a PB - hurrah!) - only bit I don't like is running along the bypass. Will definitely be back next year!

Schnecke Stopwatch time was 55:29. A slight improvement on last year's time, but not quite enough. Will start nearer the front next time - being a good girl and starting at the back isn't helping me improve my time. The clock already said 0:45 when I crossed the start line, and I was overtaking people for the rest of the race. Very enjoyable and friendly race, however, and all credit to NHRR for their excellent organisation. Well done to all the other Fetchies on running excellent times - sorry I didn't see anyone apart from Lums at the start.

Tanktop Bit of a nightmare, felt OK at 5K in 20mins, but then the hills got me. 2nd 5K in 22.22. Stomach cramps didn't help. Excuses, excuses....
