Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ands First time for this one, great route but with unrelenting headwind. Was a little bit thirsty, but worth it not to carry camelbak around! Good advice!
Ran most of way with NSPoly runner who usually is about the same speed as me, it did us both good and made the day. She'd just got engaged and it was my 45th birthday - not that we gossiped going round or anything.

bigwhite Going to enjoy it..... not racing it, just runing it for the pleasure of running. Be a first
Well throughly enjoyed it, beautiful course. A little head wind for most of the way. I now have one bleeding nipple, tape fell off. Mild chaffing to inner left thigh, forgot the vasaline. Two huge blister on right foot. A great day all round. Great event. I hope a certain runner did not colapse and die, as she thought she might, at my advice not to take her hydration backpack !!!!!!
Lack of recent training showed through, I was buggered

Black Cat Took it very easy last year, running with a recovering Ha!Ha!. It's too scenic not to amble round but would hope to beat last years time! Update - Wind in the face pretty much all the way but not too bad and enjoyed it again.

Mark-R Waiting for offical time. Loved the run though, despite my body telling me otherwise!

Not going hell for leather on this (not that I'm capable of doing so)..... Aim is to just get round in one piece without stopping. Website states that back marshal/sweeper coming in at 2:30, but previous years would suggest otherwise?

After that Run For Bob on Sunday gone (approx 7.5 miles - just under 01:15 for me) I'm hoping to keep the almost same pace going for this. Should be a nice day out anyway :)

Folks betting on me - As ever, don't see my predictions as a certain thing. They're never far out, but they're rarely achieved too :( ;)

susietwoshoes Obviously the slowest time booked here, but I am pleased to have taken part. I really enjoyed the run, can't wait until next year, when hopefully I will be better prepared and better trained.

swittle I love this run! 5th time since debut in 1990 and there's always more to see and enjoy. 90 seconds shy of last year's time but, thanks to an unknown hero, finished strongly on the beach :)
