Coatesy JT, have you accounted for the mid-week apathy co-efficient in your time predictor?

Nice race, good balance. I don't think there was one part that took too much out of me.

Organisation was a little crap.

Deanomite Not happy about this race. I wasn't feeling very good to start with and my legs were very wobbly.
Managed to get around at a reasonable pace but 30 feet from the finish line there was a queue of runners.
I stopped my watch at 39mins 17secs and the time I was given was 40mins 10secs!
Not sure what time to put as I definitely beat my PB but officially I haven't.
There were 28 Hermitage Harriers running in this race, congratulations to all that took part.
Yours grumpily,

ThorntonRunner Apologies to all who bet on me. Unfortunately I'm still suffering from the adductor injury I picked up a month ago, and hence have not run since Hungarton (but a fortnights family holiday walking in the lake district didn't help recovery!). Wanted to beat my PB, but whilst the adductor didn't overtly trouble me, lack of race fitness did. Am suffering today and will now rest totally until it's sorted. If I'm back to fitness the John Fraser 10 on 2nd Sept should be a banker for a pb, but don't bet until I've provided a prediction!

Beccals haven't done alot of training recently due to holiday, then a weekend away so don't think I'm likely to do much better. Wouldn't therefore recommend betting on me. As always I'll try my best...UPDATE very happy with run, actually liked the course as no nasty uphills! End very disorganised though which wasn't good. Have looked on the official race results to find that they have given me a time of 40.50. Considering I was standing in a queue of runners and the person behind me had 39-23 on her watch and someone ahead 39-28 I'm sticking with the time on my watch. Think it's awful that they basically went down the line and just made up the times.

Boycie Providing all goes to plan I should break 30 minutes here - worst comes to the worst it'll be under 30:30, so a new PB fingers crossed! UPDATE: Didn't quite break 30, but got very close. Started a bit too quick - first mile in 5:43, and then the little inclines over the next 2 miles took it out of me a bit - managed to finish with a 5:50, so overall pretty pleased. Best of all the Hermitage Harriers won a team prize - PG, Lee, me and Shaun... All the Harriers were great tonight, with 30 runners participating!

Rich963 Very disappointing. Started well, but chest felt tight after a mile and a bit and couldn't keep the pace going. Ended up a bit slower than last year, and well down on pb pace. Splits 6.03 6.47 6.39 6.29 6.27
