Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

AD really enjoyed it. Not a bad time and position 22nd, considering I've hardly run since the GNR.

Boingy First ever trail race, so a new experience for me. Found it hard going, went over on both ankles, and a bit shaky on some of the downhill stretches. Absolutely caned it over the last couple of miles on flatter terrain ! Garmin time logged.

Dogtanian Excellent race. Didn't push hard on the up and had lots of energy once the trail levelled out. 119th / 290.

happy little vegemite Hard after the day before, but glorious! Racked my ankle at 2 km (again!), very uncomfortable but kept going as this has seemed to help in the past, and did today. Brilliant day, again.

julbags Really enjoyed this, my favourite course of the Lakeland Trails so far. Surprised myself too, haven't been able to put in much in the way of long runs lately so thought I would struggle.

Lisrun Took this pretty easy because of my ankle. Managed to fall over and grazed my knee but no other damage. Quite a tricky rocky course up yo 5K. I preferred the second 10K (even though that's is where I fell ! :-))

Stepford Wife First of G's courses I have actually managed to run all the way round so it can't've been that hard ;-) Very nice course. Slightly too much boring track at the end but the other paths after the YHA were excellent. Tricky in places, couple of dodgy downhills and past Lanty's Tarn where I haven't been since I nearly sledged into it. Great stuff all round. Really struggling by the time we reached Claire but was determined to plod on. Beat all the women so it can't have been that bad ;-)

thesteadygroove Great to be back in the lakes again. Superb race with a bit of everything, no time to settle as you hit the hills straight away. Really pleased with my time, I love this terrain!!!!!!!!!!

ThorntonRunner Thoroughly enjoyed. First ever trail race. Ran out of steam a bit towards the end - possibly went off a bit too fast, but then, no experience of pacing this type of race.
