ARB73 My 1st fell/trail run and obviously first race. Took part in the novice challenge race and finished 1st. Totally delighted and gobsmacked as never came close to winning anything before. If I'd run the senior race, my time would have put me about 33rd. Loved the event despite the rain and very wet bog so think there will be similar events in the future for me. Also won a pair of trainers as a spot prize so over the piece I'm on a high - great day!!!! :-)

CumbriAndy Not quick but was never planned to be - just a test of the niggles and a steady plod round. Good to pass a fair few on the climbs and not be passed on the descents. Continuous drizzle not a problem.
