EarlyRiser Well that went very well! Weather good, light south-westerly breeze, some sun. Course very scenic a couple of short steep hills, and long gentle downhills. Ran fine after a bunched start. Better than prediction (again!)

Forest Runner I don't know how I am going to do at this one. I will have a better idea after the Wokingham half. UPDATE - ran this as a training run and was happy with my time. My average heart rate was only 141, so hopefully I could run a fair bit faster if I was racing this. My legs did feel quite tired, but I suppose if I was targetting this race I would have been tapering, which I wasn't, so it's only to be expected.

Hills of Death (HOD) Tough training run :). UPDATE went ok tough as a race so just as well I didn't ;). Started easy with Bananaman he 'ordered' me to go on after the tough hill at 9. Picked up the pace until 16 then just 'mentally drifted' the last 4. Chatting most of the way met some interesting characters.
