Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

dean86501 Ran too hard on the first kilometre and the rest felt like a really hard slog. Have to start early or there were huge queues.

Dennis from Downstairs More a day out than a race.
No pens for the start so was dodging slower runners and walkers right from the start until 6-7k despite not being a fast runner. No time clock at the start either. Nice day out but too many people on the course (plus a poor goodie bag and cheap medal) Will look elsewhere next time

HermanBloom Can only echo the majority of other comments on here. It was very busy. If you go in a group I think it would be a lot of fun, but as a solo runner this time there was a lot of standing around at the start and then a lot of running around slower runners and walkers until the 6k mark (and as others have also said, I do not class myself as in any way a fast runner!). Lot's of support along the route though so if you can get a group and don't take it as a PB race then it's worth doing.

mystique100 Here's my take on today:
* Organisation of the event is VERY good, apart from keeping us waiting for an extra 25 minutes at the start. Not sure why!?!
* Very good atmosphere, but a little sad at times when you read many

photogirlruns Well organised but the start should be staggered, was forever trying to dodge slower runners in front of me - and I am by no means the fastest - would ease congestion if the start was done in predicted times. Great run though and would recommend it!

SherryB I've heard it takes a long time to cross the start line. I'm doing this off the back of a 9 mile run across the South Downs the day before so not sure if my legs will be cooperative as I haven't done this back-to-back mileage for a while (maybe if ever).

simeyk Second fastest 10k ever, race is very busy with no ranked starts. Will not be going back next year. Will stick to the Bupa London 10k which had a better routeand less busy.
