MadRobby Well organised race and great support despite the drizzle. Started off (rather optimistically) @ 90 min pace, got to half way dead on 45 min, but suffered for it later and slowed rapidly towards the end. Knocked 4 mins of previous PB so delighted with that.

Rapid Snail Tougher course than Brentwood. Hopefully in slightly better shape. #Update. Missed PB by 4 seconds. No excuses. Except the usual badly placed mile markers and a chronic stitch for the last 4 miles. Went through the 12th mile marker in about 1:30:15, good enough for 1:38:30 and despite a 7 minute 13th mile on Garmin and a sprint finish managed to miss out. Still, beat last years time by 3 minutes and paced the race as well as I have ever, perhaps a little too conservative early on.

Wheabs Running better than last year so should be able to beat the time - but I'll see how it goes on the day and might just enjoy the run instead! As it turned out I ran a well paced race and took 4 minutes of last years time! Overall very enjoyable even with the damp weather.

Marmotte Going into it with limited expectations as training has been sporadic...................decided to go for a sub 1.40 pace and see how long I could sustain it for. Having low expectations tends to relax you and I found it comfortable for long periods although the steady drag from 9-11 always gets you in the end. Great, well organised race and not much fun for the organisers in the rain. Well done!

Maclennane Watch time as chip time turned out to be gun to finish. Fantastic run, cold and wet and just hilly enough to be fun. Oh, and have I mentioned I'm faster than Hoax?
