Wattopia 'backwards' was deserted just now. Weirdly quiet.

Ay ay. Foo's yer doos. etc
So there's an expensive looking box in the garage, just waiting for the freeing up of a spare room after the mania of the festive period. Given that I'm a bit of a 'joiner' by nature and a sucker for a fad, I'm expecting to embrace my inner Tw*t and join in here very soon.
So here's a rookie question: Can I join with both Windows and iOS? I'm most likely to use an iPad, but could be using the mainframe sometimes. Does anyone know if you're limited to one or the other?
Thanking you.......:-)

I believe you can use both/either, as you sign in with your existing user name.
I shall only be using iOS. The wifi extender has arrived and Bluetooth sensors are on their way.
Will need to wait until they arrive before trying to set up as it seems you only now get 7 days free trial.

Will be on there doing an FTP test soon once it downloads an update. My penance for being lazy over Christmas. At least my legs are rested for it!

If you Zwift cycle in, say, That London, does it affect your zones in Conquercizeâ„¢?

I'm looking at getting a new trainer for Zwifting but I'm not a die hard cyclist and not bothered about stats etc. Just need the turbo training to be a bit more engaging! I see Rach mentioned the Wahoo Kickr Snap, anyone recommend other units to consider?

Whiskymurray - it really depends on your budget. Tacx do the most "budget" trainers - the Tacx Flow Smart or the Tacx Vortex Smart are both more than adequate and at the bottom end of the price range. They do have some real quality control issues though and I, like many others, had to send part of mine back shortly after it arrived as it was making a huge racket (a common problem). The instructions and customer service isn't very good.
Right at the other end, there's the direct drive trainers which are widely considered the best - but the price matches them. The Tacx Neo, the Elite Muin or the Wahoo Kickr all have very good reviews.
The Snap is a midrange trainer, and I would recommend it for a very effective "outdoor" feel. The new Elite Rampa is also meant to be very good.

Anyone else had iOS issues? I spent most of Christmas in deepest darkest Devon which has two distinct advantages over Newbury: 1) soft water and no limescale and 2) a hugely strong 4G signal.
I was therefore able to Zwift in my relatives' garage using 4G. However, my Dad - who is suffering quite badly from Alzheimer's - came in whilst I was training and decided it was a good time to start crushing aluminium cans right next to the turbo. This knocked my iPhone on the floor which caused me to lose connection briefly. When I uploaded my ride, I'd lost the last part.
I've heard others losing their rides on iOS with a brief connection drop - I hope it's something that they can sort out. I asked on the Zwift iOS users group on FB, but, in true Zwift FB usergroup style, I was slammed for "blaming Zwift for my own connection issues". Whilst I don't blame Zwift one jot for my connection drop, I would have thought the ability to resume connection after a connection has dropped (which is pretty commonplace) *was* a Zwift issue.
