Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I cannot get it to automatically update

Can you upload the strava download file into fetch?

Garmin Connect won’t push "third party" data. So you need to manually export to .gpx and then upload the file to Fetch.

We need to get Fetch recognised by Zwift as an option to export to (alongside strava UnderArmour(was NapMyRub) and Garmin. How hard can it be? We’ve got 6-figs subscribers.

I let Zwift push automatically to strava but then manually upload to Garmin Connect as that way Garmin Connect does push it across to other services like Fetch. That way all my things are kept in sync, and the auto upload to strava means I won’t forget about it as I need them all to show the same mileage etc. Given Zwift doesn’t push directly to Fetch, there’ll always have to be one manual upload step anyway.

Zwift will export the fit file which seems to work better for me, but yes there's a manual upload. There used to be a good site for syncing but it stopped working awhile ago.

Export the original file from strava rather than the GPX

You shouldn't need to export from strava if you're using a PC / laptop, as Zwift saves the .fit file (the same as the strava original file) in c:usersdocumentszwift (or thereabouts) on PC - assuming you're running Zwift on a PC. No idea where it stores that .fit file though on an iPad.

True, true!! It's easier for me as I use the laptop so it's fewer clicks to get it to Garmin Connect, providing my sweaty fingers can use the laptop mouse at the time!!
