I use an IPAD which I have no skills with and all it runs is ZWIFT.

First time racing tonight, only a short one but good fun. Went too early on the sprint, happy enough with 8th, though maybe in retrospect I picked too easy a category (2.5-3.1w/kg C).
Don't know whether it's the use of a dumb trainer with drafting or I'm just getting stronger, but holding a higher w felt much easier tonight than it has done and Zwift FTP went up to about 259w.

Gratz - top 10 is good going. Usually get dropped in the initial charge off the line myself.

Thinking about a meet up then; I can organize it if people are interested.
I have to follow you on Zwift to add you to a meetup, so Fmail me your name and (if there are thousands with the same name) something that will allow me to identify your profile and I'll sort something in the next couple of weeks if we get at least 5 people interested?
Maybe a nice flat course, keep all together, time based say 45 mins rather than a set distance.
I've got discord so maybe we could also set up a channel to chat.

According to ZwiftPower it was 272w (3.7w/kg), going into it my FTP was notionally 239w but on the other side it was 259w. I'm hoping I hadn't managed to move the trainer or do something which gave me a misleadingly "easy" ride, but i don't think that would be possible on the trainer I've got.
It does feel like I've progressed a bit too rapidly from the ramp test FTP which set me at 219w, but perhaps it's just the expected "learning curve". Plus the bike was outside so overheating wasn't as big a deal!
Still very much learning!!

Still trying to understand this a bit more - I don't seem to appear in the zwiftpower race results for that race. Is that likely to be that because I ended up with a better w/kg than the 2.5-31w/kg range should have expected?

Larkim, I expect it will be that you were not using a Power Meter. Without reading back I'm assuming you're on dumb trainer with speed/cadence sensor? If that's the case Zwiftpower removes you from the results and sticks a ZP beside your name

There are other reasons depending on the specific race requirements. Like not wearing a Heart Rate Monitor
