Chrisull: Be ready to go hard straight off. It will go fast quickly, and being measured in the first minutes is no good if you're out the back.
That said, if you are in a bunch and can ease for a few seconds, do so. Then watch for gaps opening ahead, and if you can jump across do so, or follow other wheels trying to bridge.
After a while it will probably split, in which case try and find a decent group. Keep an eye on the map and time gaps to decide whether to ease and wait for a group, or try to bridge.
Not suggesting you should do this but you can still upload them as GPX and get the conquersize stuff though, as he said he can’t distinguish virtual rides in those files. Or at least that was the case a week or two back as he mentioned it to me via email.
I don't do Fetch games so that's all gone over my head, but if he could distinguish Zwift specifically why did he need to make them more generalised? Probably not for this thread, tbh.
Any tips for sorting out calf cramps? On the verge of cramping / actually cramping for about 30 minutes out of the 60 I zwifted tonight. Had to resort to single leg pedalling for a bit!
Hooked up with the C pace partner tonight; annoyingly needed to ride at more than 2.5w/kg to hang with them. Someone mentioned it might be due to riding with climbing wheels on a dumb trainer.
Would be good if there was a 2.0w/kg pacer as well as the 1.5 and 2.5. There's quite a big gap between riding at 112w and 188w, and neither of them are in the range suggested to me for easy riding!!
Can't believe we've got to do Epic KOM both ways tomorrow Gobi and the lovely Radio Tower Took me 30+ minutes to really get going today but enjoyed it. We'll see ow the legs are tomorrow
