Hey I can do the watts too.
Think I’d need to lose more than a kidney or two to match the W/kg though
Maybe an appendix, both arms....nope still wouldn’t be there.
Had fun myself on Sunday in my old person race. All 4 blue-shirts (50-59 age range) were too busy watching each other and stupidly fell off the front group about 3km from the finish, and of course at that point none of us was that bothered about closing the gap. So we played a game of cat and mouse, with me coming last in the dismal sprint...only to find the other 3 were all 55-59 so I won the 50-54 age group again

I've joined the Team Trial Trial for tomorrow, signing up with The Herd. They know I'm new but I want to do my best for the team by not skipping a turn on the front, not accidentally jumping the line etc, so if there are any tips on that, that'd be great. I've a smart trainer, but are they really that precise in terms of trying to stay in line (in group rides I often seem to overshoot the group, then back off a bit to fall in line, but then sometimes drop off the back - does this just get better with practice?). When I'm at the front and I'm done, I suppose I stop pedalling for a bit so the second place person can overtake, and I slip back to the back before pedalling again, and trying not to overshoot it and overtake the person in front of me?! Is it still hell for leather at the start as usual in a race, or is it more measured to get in line first? Probably I am overthinking all this and it'll become clear on the day. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to it and they seem a very welcoming bunch

Don’t stress it, everyone is shit, even the pros. It takes a fair bit of experience to do a decent pace line, not helped by the various lags between what you do and what happens, plus everyone may have a slightly different view of what is going on! Most teams use discord for communication so find out about that and get it set up.
Most importantly, have fun!
There are a couple of somewhat useful YouTube videos around, probably on zwiftinsider.
