So sorry to read that. You must be missing him so much.

Hugs you and the rest of the family, AtC, always so tough to say goodbye.

Our two were incredibly well behaved on the sidelines watching my club's men play today, and got several compliments on their new coats

They were even better behaved in the clubhouse after the game, getting cosy by the fire. Bel even let a stranger give her a treat, which is almost unheard of.

But I thought it was best to bring them home when the third half singing started. The wild rover would probably have been too much for her.

Very smart coats and what a handsome pair.

Wanda managed to get two breakfasts yesterday - I fed her before going to parkrun including giving her her various morning meds that she has to have now.
While I was at parkrun she managed to convince BaronBR that I had forgotten to feed her before I left (and I missed his text asking if I had). Fortunately he wasn't 100% sure so didn't give her a second dose of the pills etc. We were also doing a long walk with friends yesterday which meant she got a frozen kong while we had lunch at the pub too. Fortunately the walk to and from the pub tired her out enough that she didn't push the point when she asked for her evening meal and it wasn't forthcoming!

Anyone tried any form of calming treats? I’m seeing adverts for them at the moment but, while they sound like a good idea, I’m somewhat skeptical!

Monty is extremely stressed out by the fireworks. We try keep everything calm inside with background noise and he seems to feel safe behind the sofa, or under the desk in the study.

We had a nervous time on Thursday Cairo went down hill throughout the day high temp got late appointment with Vet. Immediately put on drip and given more drugs had to take him to another vets for overnight treatment 10 mile away.
Pleased to say he has perked up a little but has a dreadful cough

We use the Nutripaw calming treats Pothunter - no idea if they work or not though. I think if they have any effect it’s more of a slow gradual effect. We’re using calming sprays and diffuser too and calming music.

Not helped on Monday by some absolute ****s who set off fireworks in the park on the path about 20 metres from me and Albie in broad daylight. thankfully he was on lead because he freaked and ran and dragged me home and now won’t go to the park.

Hope Cairo gets better quickly RRR-CAZ.

Has anyone mentioned the fake Yumove issue? A friend says her dog has been having alleged Yumove tablets bought from Amazon but it turns out they're counterfeit.
Luckily we get ours direct from Yumove.
