I’ve seen a few people talking about it in various dog-related Facebook groups I’m in.

The vet told me a while ago to beware of fake Seresto collars too.

Hope Cairo is on the mend @RRR-CAZ 🇬🇧 !

Monty seems to be getting used to the bangs at last. He was much more tolerant on our walk this evening. He did sit down a few times but a treat was enough to get him moving again - I suspect he might put 2 and 2 together soon though and do it just for a treat!

We’re dog sitting Frank the miniature dachshund for our neighbours this weekend. He’s a real little sweetheart. Monty is tolerating him very well too. I think it has been really good for him to see that other dogs are friendly and noting to be scared of. He’s been a little bit jealous but nothing too much.

I buy Yumove from either the company directly or Vet UK who we get Wanda's other prescription meds from or Pets at Home. Depends who has the best price as we don't do the Yumove subscription. We have recently moved to the Yumove Plus Max but before that we were on Yumove Senior Dog which you can buy in Sainsburys and sometimes would be under a nectar card offer so very competitive. In fact I probably wouldn't have bothered with a nectar card otherwise. The amazon counterfeit tablets is worrying though.

Jet has been unwell. The vet prescribed a week of antibiotics and asked us to come back tomorrow morning to deal with whatever is left after the infections have cleared. He's improved dramatically in the last week and now we 'only' have to deal with the fact that he's losing his marbles and gets anxious. Apparently there are drugs that can help, so we'll find out more tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear Jet's been unwell. I hope the errant marbles and anxiety can be helped by some medication.

Quite poignant that our elderly Fetch dogs are starting to suffer from the same type of ailments as our elderly human family members…

Jet improved a lot last week but his test today showed an ongoing problem. We're trying Vivitonin for a couple of weeks to see if that will help his cognitive function. Then we're onto blood tests again to check for Cushing Disease. At this moment I'm quite pleased that I haven't cancelled his insurance!

On his good days Jet thinks he's a puppy and his quality of life is still positive. I'm very grateful for everything that he still brings to our lives.

Whilst we were out today we were able to keep an eye on the dogs via a webcam in the living room. Given a choice of four dog beds and two sofas, at one point this morning Oscar was curled up on the coffee table 🤣. (He moved just before I got a screenshot unfortunately)
