The most we’ve got from Phoebe is a sweet wrapper (empty). And we usually assist with removing grass.

One of my sister’s friend’s dogs ate a whole blanket once. Cost them a small fortune at the vets. Dog was fine afterwards but unsurprisingly didn’t learn his lesson!

My sister's Labrador produced a pair of tights very very slowly on a pavement once. My brother in law had to stand on the first bit that appeared while my sister had to walk Sam along the pavement to 'assist' in the defecation :-)

Sam's old greyhound was also an equal opportunity consumer, he once ate a whole bag of daim pieces and pooped the wrappers for days.
The worst one was a microwavable wheat bag, for which he required a couple of enemas. He so went straight back to try and take the remains of it out of the bin when he got home.

Bel, our current brindled idiot, is similar, I can always tell which little surprises in the garden are hers because they're full of foil or bits of plastic bag from where she's raided a bin.

Our version of that was a length of polypropolene rope Thankfully that didn't require a vet visit.

Ans on a similar note to LD, Jet's Direct Line insurance is close to being cancelled. It shot up when he reached 10, and just keeps going up each year.

A whole one, but it was in three pieces I believe. I can picture the Lab ripping the bathrobe into 3 pieces, eating one and thinking ‘hmmm, that’s nice, I may as well eat the other two bits too’. The dog did have to undergo surgery to get them out as unsurprisingly it wasn’t very well, but it was okay afterwards apparently.

These stories make Wanda's eating misdemeanours sound like nothing in comparison! She does raid bins at any opportunity though

Ernie will eat any food items he can get his paws on. I’m grateful he doesn’t eat other stuff.

Biscuit eats knickers (specifically he chews the gussets out). So far they've always made it out the other end unaided.

The biggest challenge of this is getting the Y-chromosone members of my household to shut the bathroom door to keep the silly animal out of the laundry basket.
