Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's hilarious Mazlin

Well done halfpint - dogs that are genuinely allowed to be out of control do need to be reported. There should perhaps be a little leeway on a one-off genuine mistake but it sounds as if the dog warden doesn't think that's the case with what happened to Ernie.

Nice to hear that Highland is somewhat proactive in protecting us and our dogs!

All I was expecting was that the owner be asked to keep it on a short lead and muzzled.

Mrs TR took a photo of Oscar as we were on a gravel path after he got a muddy nose. Taken close up it looks like a disembodied head 🤣🤣

She hinted that this dog may already be known to her and asked if I would be willing to give evidence in court and if she could pass my details to other agencies if required. Yes on both counts.

Glad to hear that 'something' is being done. We had an aggressive GSD locally that caused a fair bit of trouble, but I haven't seen it lately. I hope it's been muzzled rather than euthanised.

To be honest I hate the idea that the dog might be euthanised. It’s not the dog’s fault that the owner hasn’t been responsible.

In return for a bite of my chicken focaccia at the services on our way to Wales Stevie spent the rest of the 5 hour journey filling the car with noxious wind.

LOL Winniefree :)

Since Biscuit continually whines on even short car journeys, I can't imagine taking him further afield. It's a real shame because T1 now lives in Cornwall.
