Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Having been forced onto the bike yesterday I have to say the game seems weighted towards cyclists. I think cycling needs to be played on a bigger grid 😀 Or perhaps a points system of 1 (cycling) 3 (Running) 5 (swimming) would balance it out more? Putting aside the first to log debate.

Hello EvilPixie. Are you here?

Indeed it is weighted towards cyclists, especially flatland cyclists on housing estates, and I agree with 1 and 3.

I would agree that you can cover a lot more individual squares quickly by bike. Otoh, if someone gets in a couple of first-strike runs, they will be well ahead.

It's only weighted to those cyclists if they ride round and round, most will just be leaving the home square and riding out of the grid in a fairly straightish line.

What the game is weighted towards are folks that have a high density of accessible paths / roads / parkland allowing them to gobble up all the squares.

It is what it is.

Cumbri Andy at lunch I noticed I hadn't stopped the Fetch App after cycling in so I stopped the time and saved, then I remembered it's Monday,=.

Doubt my unintentional cheating will make any difference as your are 12 spots head of me.
