Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gathering from how things have gone today, I am guessing that Chrisity is retired, or semi-retired. Doing a spin on the turbo trainer this evening hasn't helped. Maybe I should revisit this match in +15 years time :-)

I've mainly been thinking about Fetchpoint and not too bothered about running wiggly routes within my grid: I like to go further afield. I notice I'm getting a few more ranking points when I win a match at this level though.

Meglet this week for me. I’m on a taper so I will have to be creative with my routes...

The good news is my knee survived (just) a 6 mile run this evening. The bad news is it was all off grid.

Hello iRicey!
Re the cycling vs running - I think that t depends on the type of cycling you do... if you do lots of short rides - like commutes - then yes, but if you head out for 20-30miles the grid is just a short pass through and a decent run is far more effective..IMHO...

Hi Little Nemo! Just got back from a wedding yesterday and very busy this week but my weekend may be reasonably free :-)

Anyonebutmatt for me this week. I won last week (through my opponent not doing much square-based exercise rather than any thing on my part) so I have five green lights :)

I don't think anyonebutmatt is a forumite though.

He also appears to have run a marathon yesterday.

That's some bad luck mr d!

Re double points: Having altered my training pattern - when I can - to log early for the day, I'd say it really could be done away with. I think I read somewhere it was to incentivise people to log their activity?

Ideally I suppose the points for each activity type would equate to how long/how much effort was used. Which is hard to equate.

Imagine someone just doing a short fast run to cross a border, leisurely walking back to a bike then riding a bike to the next border and doing another quick run to cross the next border, etc. ;-)
