@bja Sutton Park definitely a great space to live near to (5-10 min walk / 3-5 mins on bike) + Newhall Valley, part of the NCN, is great for riding, walking & running.
Think location of house might have helped Wifey to accept my proposal, 14 years ago! 🤔😂
For the benefit of any Londoners, it’s like living next door to Richmond Park

Ahhh I haven’t noticed any cake squares change I just presumed once they were a cake they were removed from our available squares. Makes sense now I might get the hang of this.
On bike I must be honest if I got mine out I’m sure I’d do better but I just don’t get cycling maybe it’s a lockdown challenge in the making.

Although if there were an 8x8 ocho, I'd be very tempted to go for it.

The only difference between a cake square and an empty square is that both you and your opponent have visited it and cancelled out each other's points. That makes it net zero points scored in that square and all to play for, just like an empty square

I’m still in the top 10 but with Miss NDW back at school, my 6/6:30-8:30 have become 6/6:30-7:30 so my form will dip a bit.
I already know my local hills well so don’t need any trips to work out the best ones. I will probably mix up the hills for my Centurion UP effort in any case
