Of course building up a buffer means your opponent is less likely to post a run on Monday morning and steal the last couple of squares back from you.

Last week was my first match against Blue Tang. Quite evenly matched with us both running frequently but my focus was only on fetchpoint is my excuse 😁. This week shedrunner hasn't got off the mark yet so I might try to bust a gut just yet.....

Long ago (18 months?) the ranking change was dependent on the amount of win, but no longer.

There's also the badges - for 100, 150, 200 and 225 squares. And the four corners.
Regardless of what your opponent is or isn't up to you can always aim for those, thebeardrunner.

BeardRunner - the game hots up once you get into multiplayer. Sounds like you might be rather good at that! A new multiplayer starts week after next?

 G - I think one of the effects of the lockdown is that a lot more people have been playing and therefore the score needed to get into the multiplayer is now around 1060. Therefore TBR (and me) are going to have to wait for the multiplayer after that one.

Yes the popularity of this game has soared. I remember when I could sail through to the quarters in multiplayer with only a little extra effort. Now I'm lucky to make it through the first round!!
