When did you last give blood?

But I suppose if it helps squeeze every last drop out of available appointment times... I got knocked back last time out because I'd been to the south of France. I wonder how many people were affected overall, and how long before it goes away? 178 people have died from vCJD in the UK Research in 2013 indicated one in 2,000 people in the UK is a carrier of the disease, linked to eating contaminated beef and that it may have a very long incubation period so it's likely that we'll see the ramifications of the problem for many years yet.
