When did you last give blood?

Fastest ever visit, as I had the first appointment after their afternoon break, all done in forty minutes. 6:16 donation time, nicely speedy. TUC biscuits and a mint club. Two other ladies were in agreement with me that we only donate for TUCs, a fourth lady at the table looked at us slightly bemused. They had a leaflet about platelet donations, they’re looking for A- AB- and A+ donors so I’ve signed up to be assessed. Height and weight plus an extra blood test and veins assessment next time I donate. Shame I didn’t realise whilst I was there, they might have been able to do it today. I suspect I’m still too short/light but we’ll see.
