When did you last give blood?

Last time I went was totally unimpressed to wait 45 minutes to see a healthcare assistant who then had to fetch a nurse to tell me I couldn't donate because I'd seen my doctor the previous day for a still-being-investigated sore foot. Grumpy as it made me (and it wasn't the first occasion they've wasted significant chunks of my time) I probably will go back, because it's someone else who benefits...
