I've often thought about it but never have given blood.

Just as well, John. You don't want to be corrupted by the likes of me.

Well I'm off this lunchtime as promised. If I can pass the stoopid density test this time I'll be looking forward to the biscuit selection! Bacon sarnie will do though.

I am lucky to get a biccie For some reason the blood peeps seem to make me ill, the last three appointments they sent have all arrived when I have been too ill to attend. Need to find out if I can still donate if on iron tablets. Mind you that is if I ever get rid of the bliddy lurgy first. Never had a keyring either.

I've never had a key ring either. I've got a voucher saying I can pick up a slate coaster next time for giving 3 times in the last year!!

I got a tie-pin, awfy handy as I'm female and don't wear ties
Haven't given in a while as I keep getting tattoos / piercings, or have / have just had a cold anytime they're here. They don't even send me the appointment cards now. Maybe I'll re-register; I'll be able to donate again in June.

The center in Manchester has baskets with keyrings in at the end - one for each bloodgroup - you can just help yourself, like I say it is the benefit of a permanent center
