Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Joy Division for me.

Stumbled across a YouTube with a contender on this very subject, matched his score and reckon I could have answered quicker and maybe got another question or two in.

After this week’s episode, probably Tolkien’s Middle Earth or whatever the subject was - I have never got so many specialist subject questions right before

This may just be a sign of me getting old, but wouldn't the approach today be to ask for "Test Match Cricket 1877-1879" or James Bond Films 1962-1963"? I feel that subjects today are a lot narrower than they used to be.

Turning to the question, I would be tempted to go for Wainwright's Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells, which I remember were chosen by a contestant (contender?) a few years ago.
