Presenter Samira Ahmed engages so naturally with everyone she meets and illuminates the complex history of Iran and its resistance to submitting to invaders. Visually, there's so much to enjoy: cities reduced to a few rocks; the turquoise ['heaven on earth'] and gold decorated domes; and the Zoroastrian fire temples, tended for 1000s of years.
