I had to answer the door bell, and kicked off my slippers before opening the door in my shorts and running vest. I felt that the difference between wearing slippers and not wearing them would be “he’s a slob” and “he’s trying to look after himself” 😲

He was nodding and smiling at the barber who had just finished and was holding up the mirror. It took all my self control not to smash through the window to tell him what an utter twat he looked
