Just posted this half hour ago on Corona virus thread...
Can I just say a huge thank you to everyone who works in the NHS, medical professionals, scientists, other carers and even people working in shops etc. and those on the practical front line in dealing with the public and those in need? You're all flippin super stars in my book!

I would like to thank the people who do hands-off caring, the people who clean, the people who deal with waste management, and the people we rely on to keep our utilities running. As things stand, even "lockdown" would be a pampered first-world occurrence for most of us, but if the water and electricity went off and rubbish piled up in the streets it would be another matter.
We'll miss the binmen and the HGV drivers and the home care workers long before we miss the doctors.

Thank you to all supermarket workers, having to deal with this ridiculous panic buying and a lot of rude people. And of course all our amazing NHS and care workers.
