Well, that's all for this year, folks.

A few moments from the last few days that I was too busy enjoying to share anywhere: a spa day by the sea with my best friend as an inter birthday treat (hers about two weeks before, mine about two weeks after) on Monday.
Yesterday I signed the contract for my new job which will start in April.
This evening sipping very fine rum in a hot bath with a good book (a perennial personal favourite form of joy, the drink/hot bath/good book combo) and thinking back on approximately 31 moments of joy consciously experienced already this year, if not always posted about. Here's to many more!

Good luck to those planning to keep up the practice for a full year of cheer, or just for FABruary. I've very foolishly suggested a daily ab workout challenge to a different group of friends, so I guess every day when I finish that there will certainly be a blissful relief of not full blown joy...

Those are lovely moments of joy to close out the month.

I finished off the month with a long overdue catchup with a friend. We climbed together which we’ve never done before. Before that I had dinner with some colleagues which included some very inappropriate chat.

As the arse end of the year is generally miserable, and to my mind is not improved by resolving to deny oneself one's greatest pleasures, I've decided to set myself a different new challenge: to find out create a moment of joy every day and record it - mostly in a Facebook group that a friend of mine set up several years ago for 'Fabruary', but I thought there might be a few Fetchies who would enjoy the concept too.
