Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

On a slightly different note to ITG's (well done btw and stop doubting yourself please)

"QP, I miss being in meetings with you, I thought you were going to lynch [other professional] at one point, I was waiting to see if he redeemed himself on his own, been laughing about it all afternoon."

Back to Leicester to see my dad and really pleased that he’s looking much better than when I left him on Monday. Managing to get up and down, walk a bit and feed himself without help. Hopefully we’re getting him home tomorrow so he won’t spend his 86th birthday in hospital on Sunday.

All of that is making me smile.

And we’ve got him home a day early! He’s asleep on the sofa while I frantically rush round sorting out a bed for him downstairs as he’s still a bit too wobbly for stairs.

The look on mum’s face when we got him out of the car at home also made me smile (and I had something in my eye. No, you’re crying!).
