A birthday card has arrived from a girl at church who has Down’s Syndrome. “Keep until 6 December”. Earliest birthday card I’ve ever had. :-)

My old Garmin 310X which I still use sends the data to strava and Fetch. Today my walk down to the paper shop and back had the following:

Strava: 1.08 miles, 20.00 mins, 99 feet of elevation.

Fetch: 1.09 miles, 19.59 mins, 25 metres of elevation.

Not only do I run further in less time on Fetch, it's not so hilly.

A toddler pedaling her trike right into the middle of a deep, wide puddle. Once the water was over the pedals she sat back contentedly and starting singing ‘Row, row, row your boat…’

Thinking back to today’s national xc relays, and my friend shouting encouragement at me, “you’re just about to be lapped” 😂

It wasn’t very encouraging 😂

Immodest post warning!
I met a friend's new partner for the first time today. As we parted she said the usual pleasantries about 'how nice to meet you' and then she said, almost to herself rather than to me, 'You're quite inspirational, actually'. :-)
