larkim 22 Aug 2:09pm, 22 Aug 2024 25,407 posts	0 larkim Don't know if others experience this, but I love the couple of weeks after a foreign holiday when the backlog of podcasts downloaded for my commute have country-specific ads in them because of where I was when the episode was downloaded. Currently got a load with French ads on them selling me stuff I've no idea about, but I listen to them as it reminds me of my holiday!

Funny to get local ads from elsewhere (especially if they continue to download that way well after you get home) but usually fast forward through the guff. Especially ads for 'Better Help'. It is annoying to get BBC podcasts with ads though.
