Running / non-running etc. Any recommendations? My current regular "load" are:- MarathonTalk (running, mostly) Answer Me This (comedy) Kermode & Mayo's film review (films, wittering) Gareth Jones on Speed (motorsport / cars) The Empire Podcast (films) No such thing as a fish (comedy) The Allusionist (culture!) RadioLab (US, offbeat) BBC R4 Friday Night Comedy (comedy) The Bugle (comedy) CNET UK podcast (tech - thinking about dropping this) Serial (when it's running) The Modern Mann (magazine style stuff) The Infinite Monkey Cage (science / comedy) Chequered Flag F1 (formula 1) |

If it doesn't have to be current, then Running and Life back archive was great... http://www.fetcheveryone.com/viewtopic.php?id=31939 |

Is that the real Mike Harding? Former school-mate of my dads, apparently. Nice voice, might have to dip into that.

I was on the train yesterday listening to R4s “Hamish and Dougal: You’ll have had your tea” – a v funny comedy written by and starring Graeme Garden and Barry Cryer (if you like “I’m sorry I haven’t a clue” you’ll probably like this.) Conscious of trying not laugh out loud while on the train, I tried to contain my sniggers. After a few minutes the woman sitting next to me got up and moved to another seat!!

I've quite enjoyed this. It's slight in volume but quite engrossing. I haven't yet bothered to work out why a little podcast can have people like Catherine Keener, Oscar Isaac, and David Schwimmer in it. Catherine Keener, Oscar Isaac, and David Schwimmer. |
