Thought I better look out my dark suit for MiLs funeral on Monday. It seems I have bulked up since I last wore it and can no longer do up the buttons.
Fortunately a year ago for a work event I had to buy a dinner suit, and those trousers both fit and are close enough match to the jacket that no one will notice.
I am now cutting out all food between meals to get the situation under control

[Noticed before I started my watch] carrying a new bike tyre back from the shop doesn't make it a bike ride!

Nasty, McG.
I was hoping to join swimmy friends for a sea dip this afternoon but it's too wave-y for me.

It's been every morning since Saturday: we're on holiday - a cottage on a working dairy farm. At 5:20 each morning a farm worker drives past presumably to get set up for milking. The car lights sweep through the cottage windows much to the displeasure of our 8 month old Springer puppy who makes this displeasure known very vocally!
