Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What minor disaster has befallen you today?

Because we made a late decision to stay on at the seaside house I don't have any Losartan tablets left - I had expected to be back home today. I don't suppose missing a day or two will be disastrous. I hope.

Messaging another running club about our event, I meant to say that I hoped to see “some of your members there” but accidentally put “member” instead 🙈. I’m going to hope they don’t notice the typo.

The restaurant I wanted to book for tomorrow evening is fully booked unless we want to eat at 5pm (nope) or 9:30pm (practically bedtime :-0 )

So it looks like I shall be cooking 'something nice' for the family tomorrow evening. Which is fine.

I spilled over half of my one beer that I was going to have before napping while Sam's dad takes over crewing.

Poured milk into my mug of tea, and watched it curdle ☹

Came down to meet the others for a swim but have forgotten my swim shoes and the tide us at the point where a long walk over pebbles is necessary to get into the water. I've wimped out. (Didn't need much persuasion as it's very wave-y!)

My coffee went cold really quickly because it was under an open window.

I got halfway from my car into work when I remembered I hadn't put my parking permit in the window, so I had to go back to the car wasting at least a minute of my time.

The friendly neighbourhood cat came to greet me in the garden this morning, head-bumped my hand and spilled my coffee. I guess that was more of a disaster for him than me though as it splashed on his head.
