I run until I fell alseep during The Hill, kept on running and woke up when I kicked a rock about 20ft later. That was a weird feeling. I had been awake for 50hour and running for about 32hour at that time.

You're hardcore Mike. I have listened to people taking about sleeping while running, scares the shite out of me.

Great blog R - enjoyed that.

Mike, that's my idea of hell!

I'd forgotten that I'd done the Lairig Mor between 11pm and 5am 5 times! Doesn't mean I'm good at running at that time - I hate that feeling of being so tired you'd consider just lying down where you are, but you've got to keep moving, it's scary.

Stuff it, movie night in and bag o' peas on the foot! You lot are a good (bad?!) influence! :-) G

6 on trails: 3 WHWR, 1 G24 and a couple of night training runs. If you include jogging back from the pub along country lanes a few years back then quite a lot more than 6.

I've remembered 2 more: crewing for Loon Dod in 2010 and for Wee Rhino in 2013. I think it was still daylight when we ran with MikeR in 2011?

Lol M1nty. I'd forgotten about those too - night time running back from pub or party after missing bus, lift or taxi!

Foot on pouffe, ice pack on foot and half of Mission Impossible and early to bed! Thanks to my WHW brothers and sisters for the sanity check!

Number of times running at 2am:
= = = = =
HappyG: 5 (Glenmore 24 + 4 x WHW support)
Santa: 6 (3 WHW inc 1 over 25 hrs = x 2)
Minty: 6 (G24 + 3 x WHW + training night runs)
mrs shanksi: 7 (G24 + 2 x WHW > 25 + 2 x )
RWR: 6 (Great Glen, WHW sweep x 2 x both nights, WHW support)

Well done Santa a Milngavie trail race. A bit of speed work before the big race? I haven't done any speed work for ages.

JenJ support - was that you and Hendo and Siouxsie (and Tpod of course)? That really was an all nighter, wasn't it?!

My ankle is fine after your good advice Fetchies. Thanks! :-) G
