What about the other 10% :-)G?

I'm glad you're excited, I am too. I'm trying not to worry about the weather forecast saying it will be hot. What will be will be. Just need lots of buffs to soak in water and wear round my wrists, On my head etc. Top tip for cooling the blood.

Yeah, I've heard John K talking about the first year he was bouncing about hugging everyone at Milngavie and talking 20 to the dozen and to guard against that. I'll catch up on latest podcast some time.

Oh yeah, 80+10 does not = 100. Ooops. 10% confident?!

Mrs s, I have looked at a 10 day and it's down to 13C and cloudy. Perfect! :-) G

I would try and avoid constantly looking at the weather forecast (very difficult I know) you won't get any degree of accuracy until much closer.

Still expect to see daily phone screenshots on facebook from accuweather, metcheck, bbc, metoffice etc. :)

I agree S - weather will be whatever it will be. I was just trying to be encouraging to mrs s. Let's face it we all have run in winter and summer in all sorts of kit.

Though 2012 apocalyptic rain, wind and cold or a sunshine and proper hot day would pose some extra challenge. :-) G

Remember all the chat leading up to the Fling? Weather was the opposite of the forecast! I agree with you sjjh, I only see forecast when someone puts it on fb, I'm not looking for it.

I'm feeling excited about the race after a lovely night at Wee Rhino's house chatting about it with 2 of the other runners and lots of crew. It's going to be fun!
