What's the time limit? If I ever run it I'd be ecstatic with time limit minus one second :)

Neil MacRitchie holds the record for the slowest time but with a finish - 34:5x (can't remember exactly. He's quite proud of that. So he should be with 10 WHW finishes - he's only in his 30s too. Lovely chap. Has done quicker too - sub 24 hrs?)

Duchess posted a stat about 38 runners not being allowed support from (or until?) Bridge of Orchy because of being within 4 hours of leader (Paul G, obv!) That seems like a lot. Is that the case? 38 people were still within 4 hours of him at Auchtertyre or Bridge of Orchy?

What FR , you haven't already got it in the to do list ;-)

I'm doing the relay this year through poor goal choices ( a year of short stuff, what was I thinking?) and should've went for the full race. Probably just as well it's just the relay as the excitement would have put an end to me :-P

Look forward to seeing some of you on course and hopefully get along to see the goblets being handed out :-)

Neil is a lovely guy, I see him at loads of races both short & long. He's an inspiration to me wrt sub 24.

Paul got to Bridge of Orchy at 9:16am round about 35 appeared before 1:16pm with Bill Watson arriving dead on 1:16pm.

By Glencoe this was whittled down to 17 runners, then Kinlochleven 16 runners so less of a drop off rate at the sharp end of the field.

I think he will be "taking it a bit easier" this year but if you get to Auchertyre before 11 hours race time (12pm) you will be unlikely to be allowed a support runner.
