I'm #11. Legs 11 as Lorna S said. Or 1/2 of Santa's 22, as I said! Or my mental age? All perfect! G

I'd be happy finishing at 11.11pm (23:11 = 22hrs 11mins race time). Things will have gone badly wrong if it's 11.11am on Sunday morning though!
Def more chat on FB than there is in here though. Just got some washing, shopping and packing to do. G

I'm number 45. I've never given any significance to race numbers though so it means nothing to me. We spent the weekend at FyneFest which is a beer and music festival up next to Loch Fyne. I've done no running since Tuesday, but I did plenty of dancing on Friday and Saturday night! I will do a little bimble today, yoga tonight and club tomorrow and then that will be me. I woke up at about 3.30am this morning and spent some time thinking about things. My main goal this week is to keep as calm as possible. I really, really want to enjoy this experience, and I do not enjoy getting stressed out and nervous.

Quite right R - just the practicalities of packing, getting there, remembering all the bits and bobs I want to do/get for my support crew etc are exercising my mind. Like going on holiday, really look forward to it, but the logistics can be a bit stressy.
The actual race itself I'm reasonably chilled about. I find I enjoy the first 20 miles of an ultra. It's slow, the pain hasn't kicked in. After 20, it could get horrid at any point after that (hopefully not too soon!). Obv there's the added issue that the first 20 miles are roughly 1am - 4:30am, so that's a bit weird. But hopefully in a new experience, lovely sunset kind of weird.
I like to chat at start, but I heard it was all very quiet last couple of years, as everyone just concentrates on trying not to fall over in the dark! Shame, cos after 5am (hopefully a bit later) I could be in world of pain, and then I tend to go quiet.
Anyway, we shall see. Really looking forward to it all.
Your beer fest sounded good R. Does it count as carb loading 7 days out?! G

Some hilarious chat on FB - people's stressy dreams are really funny. Esp support crews (weekatiepea!) I dreamt about Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder last night but it wasn't anything to do with running!
Last run of 4 miles yesterday lunch time (just cos it was nice and any excuse to get away from work!) Then wee spin, stretch and swim in gym at night. Tomorrow will do food shop, Thu pack, Fri chill out in bed most of day. What a luxury!
Weather forecast (completely irrelevant, cos it will prob be anything but this!) 13C and cloud / light rain, light winds. Perfect.
I would like to have some photos from the day. I'm thinking of taking a wee old digital camera and just randomly thrust it at support crew / folks out on the way and ask them to take pics or vid of me. What do you think?
